A carousel is a short sequence of slides that teaches one useful idea. It should look like something someone would want to save, not seven screenshots of a long document.
Our finished example turns practical desk-organization knowledge into a photo-led campaign. Large type, warm desk imagery and a lime-and-black design give this example its own identity.

1. Start with something you can explain
Choose a small topic you know well. Here it is three ways to arrange a small desk. Write the useful facts and checks before designing anything. Do not let attractive photos quietly add claims you cannot support.
2. Turn the notes into a sequence
Turn these practical desk-organization notes into seven Instagram slides.
Audience: people working at a small desk.
Notes: start with space for the main task; keep everyday tools within reach;
group stationery; route a loose disconnected cable away from the writing area;
test the setup with a notebook and pen.
Give each slide one clear job, a short headline, no more than 30 words of
supporting copy and a useful photo idea. End with a small action readers can try.
No productivity statistics, invented testimonials or before-and-after claims.
| Slide | Its job |
|---|---|
| 1 | Name the problem and give a reason to keep swiping. |
| 2 | Show the work area the reader needs. |
| 3 | Keep everyday tools close. |
| 4 | Give small tools one home. |
| 5 | Move the loose cable out of the way. |
| 6 | Test whether the arrangement works. |
| 7 | Recap and invite a small action. |
3. Design a campaign for the topic
Pick a look that fits the audience and subject. This example uses bold editorial type, photographic crops, thin grid lines and a recurring slide number. Give the whole campaign a clear visual direction.
Create the first slide, then use it as the design reference for the next six. Keep the palette, headline treatment and label position consistent, while changing the photo and message.
4. Keep the words easy to read
Put one message on each slide. Make the heading large and keep the supporting copy short. View the whole sequence at phone size. If a slide needs an explanation longer than the article, it has probably packed a suitcase instead of a slide.
The supplied examples are flattened generated PNGs. For dependable editing and translation, rebuild the words as separate text layers in your design editor. The slide-copy file gives you all the wording without retyping it.
5. Review the finished result
- Can a new reader follow the advice in order?
- Does every image support that slide’s message?
- Are the headlines and key details readable at small size?
- Are generated photos presented honestly?
- Does the final slide give a useful next action?

A desk does not have to be empty to be useful. Start with room for your main task, keep everyday tools close and route loose cables out of the way. Then test the arrangement.
